Join Gateway Performing Arts for the fourth annual summer camp production intensive!

Students entering 7th grade–graduating 2024 seniors will enjoy a 6–day performing arts intensive where they will grow as artists and present an hour long production! Campers will create community in rehearsals and breakout sessions (including costuming, audition dance prep, social media marketing for theater, and more!). They will also be encouraged through worship and dedicated small group time. The week will conclude with 3 performances of Frozen JR.! Those cast as leading and select supporting roles will attend an additional 3-day rehearsal session to prepare their roles.

IMPORTANT DATES

ROLE PLACEMENT AUDITIONS | 1 hour & 15 minute audition slot either Friday, May 10 between 3 pm–9 pm or Saturday, May 11 between 9am–3pm

ROLE PLACEMENT CALLBACKS | Saturday, May 18, 11am–3pm; Exact schedule by character TBD

PRE-CAMP REHEARSALS | Monday - Wednesday, June 3–5, 9am–5pm; Exact rehearsal schedule by character TBD

CAMP DAYS | Monday - Thursday, June 10-13, 9am-5pm, Friday, June 14, 9am-8pm and Saturday, June 15, 12pm-8pm

PERFORMANCES | Friday, June 14 at 6:30 pm and Saturday, June 15 at 1:30 PM & 6:30 PM

WATCH PARTY | TBD

All campers are guaranteed a spot in the Frozen JR. cast. Auditions are for role placement purposes only, but are a requirement for all campers. Audition materials and instructions will be provided in the registration confirmation email. Callbacks will be by invitation only, with call times varying by role.   

Exact call times for pre-camp rehearsals will be made available at the time of casting. Not all characters will be needed at pre–camp rehearsals.

Tickets for performances will be available for purchase online or at the door for $10 a ticket.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Students Camp Registration fee is $285

  • All campers will bring their own sack-lunch for camp. Snacks each day and dinner on Friday will be provided. Campers will provide their show shoes and specific clothing items as a base layer to their performance costumes. 

  • Parents of campers are encouraged to join the private Facebook group for camp updates and resources. Further information will be provided in the registration confirmation email. 

  • Space is limited and is expected to fill quickly.

  • A deposit of $100 is due at the time of registration. Final balance must be paid in full by May 9, 2024. Cost of registration will not be refunded if canceled after May 9, 2024.
